One non-traditional fundraising activity is with inflatable movie screens. Inflatable movie screens are all the rage in fundraising today. Organizations use these screens to show movies in the park or movies poolside for their attendees to enjoy. Admission can be charged for these events, with the proper movie licensing. This admission is one method to raise funds for charity. At these movie events the organizer can also sell popcorn, cotton candy, or snow cones to raise additional money for their charity organization. This is a very cost effective way to raise money that is simple, cheap, and delicious. There are many things to consider when looking for an inflatable movie screen. 1. Attendance – This will usually dictate what kind of screen you need and who you will rent from. 2. Screen Size – Make sure the screen is large enough for your guest count. 3. Speaker Size – Sound is vital to the success of the event! 4. Professionalism of the movie screen rental provider. 5. Availability of the specific inflatable equipment on the night of your event. 6. Movie Licensing – Most movies need movie licenses to be shown in public. This is very important. Inflatable movie screens are a great eye catcher and can add the wow factor to any fundraiser. It is truly a unique way for any fundraiser to give their guests a night to remember.

Any advantages of getting a combo Blu Ray/DVD player on a new computer?

Are there any advantages of having both a Blu Ray disk player and a separate DVD+/- RW player on a new computer?

Only thing I can think of is if one drive goes “bad”, I can use the other one still.

How do blu-ray players upscale standard definition DVD’s?

I know that most blu-ray players will upscale a standard definition dvd to fit and view well on a high definition TV but how is this done? I’ve viewed several standard definition dvd’s on my PS3 and while I know they’re not being displayed in true hd and just upscaled they still look very very good.
